I had the pleasure of meeting Cecil in March of. 2021, and it was clear from the beginning that we had a special connection. Cecil had recently lost his wife of 22 years to COVID complications, while I had spent the past 18 years raising my three boys on my own. Despite the distance between us - he in Arkansas and I in Georgia at the time - we were eager to meet in person. Cecil made the seven-hour drive to see me in Georgia, and by June, we had started dating.et in Birmingham, AL, and eventually, during one of my trips to Arkansas, we eloped in November. Now, we live in Hermitage, TN with two of our boys and are proud to have a blended family of five boys, one daughter-in-law, and a grandbaby who affectionately calls us Honey and Paw Paw. We truly believe that God brought us together, and we are grateful for each other every day.
