I dreamt of getting married and starting a family my whole life. I had it all planned out. I would meet him in college and we would get engaged during our senior year and married to summer after! But God’s plans don’t always match our plans. I graduated college and years passed and I still hadn’t met the right person. I decided to download upward because I wanted someone with the same faith as me. Finally, in early 2024 I matched with a boy named Keegan. We just clicked and after a few months of talking long distance we met up. We spent hours just talking at a pier by a lake. We both left that first date feeling like we had finally found our person. We continued dating and eventually Keegan moved to be closer to me. He proposed to me on the same pier where we had our first date this past October and now we get married in 84 days!! Even though it didn’t pan out how I expected, God’s plans were greater. Keegan is everything I ever hoped for and more. Hang in there ladies, your soulmate is out there and is always worth the wait!
